FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
To give you the best experience with the donkeys and to adhere to our maximum capacity numbers, unfortunately additional guests are not able to join the experience without a ticket.
CAN FRIENDS & FAMILY WATCH ?
The donkeys are a bit nervous around dogs, so we ask that you don't bring your dogs with you.
CAN I BRING MY DOG ?
Yes, we have an easy access 'portaloo' with baby change table, that is available for all experience visitors.
DO YOU HAVE TOILETS ?
THE SHORT WALK goes around our front field and up to the Hilltop House, roughly half a mile.

THE LONG WALK goes further along the track, for approximately a mile. From the top you will be able to take in the breathe taking view across the Clwydian Range and Loggerheads. We recommend a medium fitness level for this walk.
HOW LONG ARE THE WALKS ?
Yes, we can offer a variety of packages for private group bookings. This can range from team building activities, to birthday parties, and more bespoke packages. Drop us an email to get a personalised quote.
DO YOU TAKE GROUP BOOKINGS ?

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your experience begins.

Your guide will be there to meet you, by the welcome hut.

Late arrivals cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

Unfortunately we can't guarantee the weather, so bring wellies/ walking boots/ sturdy footwear and a suitable coat. Please be advised that sandals/flip flop style footwear is not permitted.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW before i arrive?
Our meet-and-greet experience is wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the walks are not wheelchair accessible.

There are light refreshments available within our Grazing Hut, a self service area serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice cream.
You are welcome to enjoy your refreshments in our picnic area.

Our Grazing Hut is the perfect stop to pause and enjoy light refreshments before or after your experience. We have a seasonal selection of hot & cold drinks, snacks and ice cream available and received a
level 5 food hygiene rating in September 2024 .
We are proud to support our local produce suppliers, stocking Chilly Cow ice cream made in Llanychan, near Ruthin.
